Day Trips with PINK

Giginski-ManastirThe PINK foundation is organizing day trips to everyone who wishes to visit the three locations PINK works at: Peshtera, Pernik and Tran. The trips will include a cultural part visiting some of the points of interest of the given location as well as visiting some of the clubs for the children involved in the PINK Program. Below you can see the itinerary

Peshtera – 27 April (Thursday) – 8am departing from Vasyl Levski National Stadium parking in a mini bus. The day trip will include:

-Visiting the church and the museum in Batak

-Lunch at Peristera restaurant where the founder of the foundation Bob Faber is going to make a short presentation of the PINK Program

-Visiting the PINK room at the “St. Patriarch Evtimiy” school where the visitors can be part of the Jewelry Club for girls and the Art Workshop for boys

Pernik – 30 May (Tuesday) – 8am departing from the Vasyl Levski National Stadium parking in a mini bus. The day trip will include:

-Visiting the Zemen Monastery with a professional guide

-Lunch at Struma Hotel

-Visiting the PINK room at “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” school where the participants can be part of the Art Workshop Club for the children from the PINK program

Tran – 06 June (Tuesday) – 8am departing from the Vasyl Levski National Stadium parking in a mini bus. The day trip will include:

– Visiting the Giginski Monastery

– Lunch at Erma Hotel

– Visiting the St. Petka Chapel with short presentation

– Visiting the PINK house where the visitors can be part of the Cooking lessons for boys and girls

All the trips are 50 leva per person and include transport, lunch, translation and guide .The trips will be organized by the Travel agency Worker Bee Tours.

The PINK Foundation is committed to helping children at risk develop their human potential, believing all children deserve a fair chance to lead a happy, healthy and productive life. The PINK program is an intentional life transformation process built on long term commitment to children and youth. It is focused on socialization, education, health and hygiene, community service and life skills for children ages 3-18.

The PINK House in the town of Tran and the PINK Rooms in the town of Pernik and Peshtera are our Day centers for the PINK Program.
