A PINK brunch party was held on the 18th of October at the Sofia home of one of the friends of PINK from IWC. The party took the form of a brunch to show our gratitude for all the help and support that the IWC (International Women Club) has given over the last 5 years to PINK. Albena made a presentation of the latest projects for the youth who are part of the PINK program – the Professional Cooking course and the Manicure and Pedicure Course. These courses are a great success for PINK, as well as the children, as they acquire professional skills that would help them with a career in Bulgaria or abroad. PINK is also tasked with finding employment for the children after completing the courses.
Some of the ladies who attended the brunch heard for the first time about PINK’s activities and we were happy to be able to show them the positive results of our program.
PINK wants to express gratitude to the host of the brunch – Mary Gullet, for taking care of everything, the lovely venue and delicious food and drinks.
